Shepparton Notre's Lincoln Brand was awarded the Goulburn Murray Under 14 Division One Best and Fairest Award. Well done Lincoln!

After winning the Goulburn Murray Division and Hume Region Carnivals earlier this year, NDC’s Year 8 & 9/10 Soccer teams progressed through to the School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Finals Carnival in Melbourne last week. The results were as follows:

Year 8s :

Game 1 – Minaret College Officer 2 def Notre Dame 1

Game 2 – Notre Dame 7 def Trinity College Colac 1

Game 3 – Northcote HS 3 def Notre Dame 2

Best players were Sam Carbone, Lachie Logan, Toby Short

Finished 5^th Overall

Year 9/10s :

Game 1 – Notre Dame drew 1-1 to Ballarat HS

Game 2 – Notre Dame drew 3-3 to Dandenong HS

Game 3 – Notre Dame won 3-1 against Aitken C

Best players were Lucas Cirillo, Aston Monteleone, Joseph Musafiri

Finished 4^th Overall

NDC students competed at the Goulburn Murray Division Athletics Carnival on 1 September. NDC finished 2nd in the Schools competition whilst the following students had outstanding results to finish in the top two of the Age Group Champions awards:

14 Yr Female: 2^nd Elliana Gray

14 Yr Male: 1^st Darcy Mintern, 2^nd Tanner Miller

16 Yr Male: 2^nd Zac Bathman

20 Yr Female: 1^st Ash Bedwell
